A Look at the Redhawks
The Redhawks just suffered their first conference loss Thursday night at Huntsville against Sam Houston. That was their first loss since December 23rd. Seattle U is still, however, first in the WAC standings with a 7-1 conference record and a 16-5 overall record. They have one of the stronger road records at 6-3.
The Redhawks can probably credit most of their wins by making the long shots as they are ranked seventh in the nation in three-point attempts per game (28.7) and 22nd in the nation in made three-pointers per game (9.3), both first in the conference.
Cameron Tyson is the heart of this offense as he leads the team with 19.4 points per game, 116 shots made from the field, and 34.9% three-point percentage (minimum 40 attempts), going 67-for-192 beyond the arc. Tyson is sixth in the nation in three-pointers made per game with 3.53.
