Haley Hoang Earns WAC Defensive Player of the Week & Named to SMU All-Tournament Team with Ielan Bradley

DENVER, Colo.- The WAC announced the volleyball weekly awards for the week of August 22nd.
Junior, Defensive Specialist Haley Hoang earned Defensive Player of the Week Honors. She averaged 5.42 digs per set with a game high of 28 against DePaul. She leads the team with 65 digs on the season. This is Haley's first time winning the award.
Haley Hoang was named to the SMU All-Tournament Team along with Ielan Bradley, a Junior MB. She averaged 15 kills per game with a high of 17 against UC Irvine. She currently holds a .340 attack percentage and leads the team with 45 kills. Ielan Bradley was also named MVP of the Tournament.
