Lumberjacks Release Their 2023 Season Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin baseball program announced their schedule for the upcoming 2023 season.
The season starts on February 17th at home as the Kansas State Wildcats come to town for a four game series. First pitches for this series are slated for 6:30 p.m. on the 17th, 2:00 p.m. on the 18th, 1:00 p.m. on the 19th, and 6:30 p.m. on the 20th. Prairie View A&M will travel to Nac on February 21st for a 6:30 p.m. matchup.
The 'Jacks first road trip will be to Sugarland for a tournament hosted by HBU on February 24th and 25th. This is the beginning of a 10-game road trip for the Lumberjacks. The next trip will be to Natchitoches, Louisiana as SFA takes on Northwestern State on February 28th.
SFA will continue their road trip in March as they will head to Tulsa, Oklahoma to play Oral Roberts University in a three-game series from March 3rd to the 5th. The Lumberjacks will return to Texas and play at Prairie View A&M on March 8th. The first conference series of the season will be at Abilene Christian from March 10th to the 12th.
The 'Jacks will host the Roadrunners from UTSA on March 14th for a 6:30 p.m. matchup. Then SFA will host California Baptist for the first home conference series of the season starting on March 17th. First pitches are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 17th, 2:00 p.m. on the 18th, and 1:00 p.m. on the 19th.
The Lumberjacks will hit the road and head to Utah Tech for a three-game series from March 24th to 26th. SFA will return home to host Sacremento State starting on March 30th. First pitches are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 30th, 2:00 p.m. on the 31st, and 1:00 p.m. on April 1st.
SFA will head to Baylor on April 4th at 6:30 p.m. Then the 'Jacks will head to Stephensville to face off with Tarleton from April 6th to the 8th. SFA will return to Nac and host Northwestern State on April 11th at 6:30 p.m. The Lumberjacks will travel to Las Cruces for a three-game series with the Aggies of New Mexico State from April 13th to 15th. Arkansas-Pine Bluff to come to town for a game on April 19th at 6:30 p.m.
The 'Jacks will host UT-Arlington at home for a three-game series starting on April 21st. First pitches are slated for 6:30 p.m. on the 21st, 2:00 p.m. on the 22nd, and 1:00 p.m. on the 23rd. SFA will go back on the road for two games at ULM on April 25th and at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on the 26th.
The Lumberjacks will then have a five-game home stand starting with a series against Sam Houston in April 28th. First pitches for the series are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 28th, 2:00 p.m. on the 29th, and 1:00 p.m. on the 30th. Houston Baptist and Grambling will come to Nac for games at 6:30 p.m. on May 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
SFA's final road trips of the season will be at Utah Valley for a three-game series from May 5th to 7th and then they will play at Grambling on May 9th. The final seven games of the regular season will be at home, starting with ULM on May 10th at 6:30 p.m. Then Lamar comes to Nac for a three-game series beginning on May 12th. First pitches are slated for 6:30 p.m. on the 12th, 2:00 p.m. on the 13th, and 1:00 p.m. on the 14th. UTRGV will be the final series of the season starting on May 19th. First pitches are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 19th, 2:00 p.m. on the 20th, and 1:00 p.m. on the 21st.
2023 Season Ticket Renewals are live now. Eligible fans may renew season tickets in their account by logging in at sfatickets.com. General public sales will open on Tuesday, December 27th.
