NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Stephen F. Austin continues its conference schedule against California Baptist.
Lily Hargrove, Jayme Bailey, and Reaganne Crane are leading the team with two goals each. Morgan Donohue, Mariona Garcia Dalmases, and Kyra Guhl all have scored a goal. Crane has three assists followed by Donohue who has two. Lydia Sattler has recorded 46 saves on the season.
In the game against NMSU, the first ten minutes of the game were evenly matched. After ten minutes of game play the momentum started to shift the Ladyjacks way as Bailey was able to strike first after getting the ball from Donohue. Bailey spun passed an Aggie defender and took a shot from outside the 18-yard box that sailed into the upper left corner past the diving goalkeeper. SFA held the lead until the 72nd minute when NMSU tied the game up. A free kick was awarded to the Ladyjacks in the 83rd minute after Thalia Chaverria fouled Carly Wyatt just outside of the 18-yard box. Reganne Crane took the free kick that hit off of a defender for NMSU and got past the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper to give SFA the lead, 2-1
