SFA Baseball Releases 2022 Schedule

The 2022 SFA baseball schedule was released Tuesday as the Lumberjacks are just over two months away from their opening series away to Northwestern State on February 18th. The first home series of the year will be the weekend of February 25th-27th when the 'Jacks host the Mavericks of UT Arlington.
Other notable non-conference matchups include a one-game tilt in Fort Worth against TCU (2/22) and a two-game series against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock (3/29, 3/30). The Lumberjacks will also face tests against UTSA (4/6), Texas (4/12), and Baylor (5/17) all on the road in Coach Cardenas' 14th season in charge.
Conference play will begin with a three-game series against Lamar at home in the clubs' inaugural season in the WAC on March 11th. Rival Sam Houston State will come to town on March 25th-27th. The 'Jacks will close out the regular season when they host UTRGV on March 19th-21st. The WAC Tournament will take place on May 25th-28th in Mesa, Arizona.
