Ladyjack Volleyball Adds Three To 2022 Signing Class

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Ladyjack volleyball program announced three signees this afternoon in Izabella Ortiz, Jayden Flynn and Camryn Hill. Head Coach Debbie Humphreys is looking forward to next year's group, and excited to see what they can bring to the table.
"We are excited about the 2022 signing class!" said Head Coach Debbie Humphreys. This is a great mix of physicality, ball control and grit. They will be great additions to our current roster."
Izabella Ortiz: 6-1 MB/Rt
Ortiz attends Flower Mound High School at the middle blocker/right side position, as her accolades include being a member of the 2019 District 6-6A Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-District, 2020 District 6-6A Honorable Mention, 2021 AVCA All-American, and Marcus Showcase All-Tournament Team.
"Bella goes hard and is a true competitor," said Head Coach Debbie Humphreys. "She is physically gifted with size, speed and a tremendous jump. Her physicality, along with her work ethic will allow her to be extremely successful at the D1 level."
Camryn Hill: 5-10 OH
Hill comes to SFA as an outside hitter out of Rick Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas. She received Team MVP and First-Team All-District accolades during her junior year, with a career stat line of 522 kills, 662 digs, and 638 service receptions.
"Cam has libero type ball control skills and can also score as an OH," said Head Coach Debbie Humphreys. "She is the type of player that makes others around her better. Her ability to pass and defend at a high level makes it easier for others to do their job. She will be a difference maker throughout her career."
Jayden Flynn: 5-8 Setter
Flynn hails from Belvidere North High School in Rockford, Illinois who will bring a versatile presence to the setter position next year. Some of her team accolades include being the Huntley Tournament and Belvidere North Tournament Champions, as well as Sectional, Regional and Conference Champions.
"Jayden is a very aggressive setter," said Head Coach Debbie Humphreys. "She has the ability to make blockers look silly because she is extremely deceptive & fast with her delivery. She will fit perfectly with our style of offense."
