THE FIRST SERVE
• Following a split during its first two Southland Conference matches of the 2019 campaign, the SFA tennis team begins a three-match road trip by heading to the Alamo City for a Friday morning matchup against league adversary Incarnate Word. First serve at the Mabry Tennis Center is set for 11:00 a.m. Following that match, SFA makes a trip to Abilene, Texas, for a Sunday afternoon showdown at Abilene Christian which will get underway at 1:00 p.m.
• Gabi Guilarte, Nida Kamal and Darinka Tiboldi have each won back-to-back matches in singles play and are each 4-3 on the year in one-on-one action. All three are also undefeated in Southland Conference singles play.
• Four of the Ladyjacks' nine doubles victories have been totaled by the top-line duo of Guilarte and Kaja Ljubic. Those two are 4-2 in tandem play this season which includes a 1-1 showing in Southland matches.
• Against Incarnate Word, SFA is 5-0 all-time. That includes a 2-0 showing at home, a 2-0 record on the road and a 1-0 record at neutral-site venues.
• SFA has dropped its last three matches to Abilene Christian and is 2-3 all-time against the Wildcats. The Ladyjacks' last triumph against their foes from west Texas came on March 23, 2015, when SFA scored a 4-3 win at the Schlief Tennis Complex.

• After suffering a 7-0 loss at the hands of McNeese in its Southland Conference opener, Incarnate Word returns to its home venue of the Mabry Tennis Center where the Cardinals are 4-1 thus far in 2019.
• Four of the Cardinals' 16 singles wins have been compiled by Jelena Dordan who has posted a 4-4 showing on the top line. Both Sara Djurdjevic and Brandelyn Fulgenzi are 3-1 in singles play.
• Playing together at either number-one or number-two doubles, Djurdjevic and Dordan have put forth a 3-1 showing through four dual matches. Fulgenzi and Victoria Kareh are also 3-1 in tandem play with all four of those matches coming in the top flight.

• A 4-3 victory over Southeastern Louisiana last Friday in Hammond, La., not only gave the Wildcats their first Southland victory of the season, it helped the squad put an end to a two-match losing skid as well.
• A team-high eight of ACU's 35 singles wins have come courtesy of Jordan Henry (7-4) who has battled on lines three, four and five at some point throughout the 2019 campaign. No other Abilene Christian player has posted a record of at or above .500 in 2019 dual matches this season, but Nini Memishishi (5-7), Ileana Mocciola (4-6) and Allison Stewart (4-7) are all coming off of wins.
• In doubles action, the Wildcats have a collective 14-16 record through dual matches. The tandem of Henry and Memishishi have gone 2-0 in tandem play while Memishishi and Sarah Adams have put together a 4-4 showing on the number-one line. Mocciola and Autumn Bellow have also racked up four doubles wins in dual matches while playing on the second and third lines.
• Abilene Christian has won its last four matches at home and is 2-0 in Abilene so far this season.
COMING UP NEXT
• SFA concludes its three-match road trip with a stop in Huntsville, Texas, to battle Southland and age-old Piney Woods rival Sam Houston State. First serve on Saturday, March 16, is set for 1:00 p.m. at the McAdams Tennis Center.
