SFA Set for NCAA Tournament Showdown with No. 10 LSU

SLC Champion Lumberjacks travel to Baton Rouge for first-round matchup
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team earned a berth in the 2026 NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament, as announced during Monday's selection show, on Monday, April 27.
The Lumberjacks (11-8), fresh off their 2026 Southland Conference Championship, will travel to Baton Rouge to face No. 10 LSU (19-9) in the opening round. The matchup marks just the second meeting in program history between SFA and LSU, with the previous encounter coming during the 2025 NCAA Tournament play.
The winner of this match will go on to play the winner of TCU and Rice in the second round in Baton Rouge.
First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, in Baton Rouge. Matchday links and additional information will be available at sfajacks.com.
