Ladyjacks move to 1-1 in league action
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The SFA tennis team posted its first Southland Conference win of the season Saturday at the Schlief Tennis Complex by defeating Nicholls 5-2.
DOUBLES
• By securing two of the three doubles matches, SFA took a lead it would never relinquish. Gabi Guilarte and Kaja Ljubic notched a 6-4 win on the top line and Nida Kamal and Kyndall Misak finished things with a 6-3 victory on line two.
SINGLES
• Wins in the number-one flight by Guilarte (6-2, 7-5), the number-two flight by Tiboldi (6-4, 4-6, 6-0), the number-four flight by Cerdan (4-6, 6-1, 6-3) and the number-five flight by Kamal (6-4, 6-3) clinched the win for SFA.
