Ladyjacks enter weekly poll for first time in 2018 following 12-3 start

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - After a week in which it extended its winning streak to 10 matches and upped its record to 12-3, the SFA volleyball team entered the VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll it was revealed Tuesday morning.
The Ladyjacks check in at number 25 on the weekly listing and are one of two teams to break into the top 25. They are joined in that category by East Tennessee State who is currently listed as 23rd.
SFA leads the nations in total wins and is the only Southland Conference squad on among the 36 total teams that were either ranked or receiving votes in the latest version of the poll.
Following a non-conference schedule that saw the Ladyjacks post wins in 13 out of their 15 total matches, SFA begins Southland Conference play at home Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Inside Shelton Gym that day, the Ladyjacks battle Central Arkansas - the 2017 Southland Conference Tournament winners - in a pivotal early season league tilt.
