
SFA Teams with Keeper of the Game to Host Three Games at Jaycees Field

'Jacks welcome children from Boys & Girls Club of Nacogdoches to Jaycees Field
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In collaboration with non-profit organization Keeper of the Game, the Stephen F. Austin baseball team has announced three dates where it will host four-to-five-inning games for children with special needs and disabilities from around the area.
Immediately following each of SFA's home games on Sunday, April 22, Sunday, May 5 and Sunday, May 13, the 'Jacks' players and coaches will set up equipment at Jaycees Field for all children in attendance who will play in each game. SFA's players and coaches will also oversee each game.
Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, the Keeper of the Game organization's mission is to provide kids and young adults with special needs and disabilities unique baseball experiences that foster the growth of those individuals and their love of baseball. Keeper of The Game promotes programs that allow these athletes to play, watch and experience baseball at a very personal level. This is all done with a focus on advancing servant leadership.
