THE FIRST SERVE
• To begin its final week of the season, the Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team heads to Texarkana, Texas, for a non-conference match against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. First serve at the Texarkana College Tennis Courts has been set for 2:00 p.m Wednesday afternoon.
• Sophomore Darinka Tiboldi leads SFA with eight singles wins while Kaja Ljubic ranks second with seven. Nida Kamal, who has won two matches in a row, owns the team's third-highest number of singles victories with six.
• The Ladyjacks will try to put an end to a two-match losing skid when they meet the Golden Lions Wednesday afternoon. In their only other match against an opponent from the SWAC this season, the Ladyjacks posted a 4-1 triumph at Prairie View A&M on Friday, April 6. In their last three meetings with adversaries from the SWAC, SFA is 3-0.
• In singles action, SFA is 31-75 (.292) in 2018 while the Ladyjacks have turned in a record of 16-29 (.356) in doubles play throughout the season.

• Arkansas-Pine Bluff's non-conference match against SFA serves as the Golden Lions' final match of 2018. The Golden Lions missed the cut for the SWAC Tennis Championships by oing 1-7 in league play this season.
• All six of Arkansas-Pine Bluff's wins in 2018 have come over their last eight matches and four of those triumphs have come against Mississippi Valley State.
• Until posting a 5-2 victory over Mississippi Valley State on March 17, Arkansas-Pine Bluff did not score a single team point through their first 15 matches of the 2018 season.
• Amira Taylor leads the team in singles wins with six while Ana Padilla ranks second with five singles triumphs. As a team, Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 27-80 (.252) in singles action and 8-24 (.250) in doubles play.
COMING UP NEXT
The Ladyjacks will play their final non-conference match of the season Friday afternoon in Alexandria, La. While there, SFA will go up against NAIA foe LSU-Alexandria at 2:00 p.m.
