THE STARTING FIVE
• Before setting out on its first international journey in program history, the SFA men's basketball team will treat its home fans to one final game in the month of November. Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m., the 'Jacks welcome NCAA Division II adversary St. Edward's to William R. Johnson Coliseum for the second-straight season. Sunday's showdown will be a campus site game of the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic.
• ESPN3 and the ESPN app will carry the 33rd all-time meeting between SFA and St. Edward's. Veteran Lumberjack play-by-play man Rob Meyers will call the action and Meyers' narration can also be heard over the air waves in Nacogdoches on Q107.7 FM. The TuneIn app will also carry Meyers' call of the game.
• The 'Jacks are 3-1 through their first four games for the first time in the Kyle Keller coaching era. SFA won its first four games of the 2017-18 campaign and was 2-2 through its first two games in Keller's inaugural season in 2016-17.
• SFA head coach Kyle Keller is on the cusp of reaching the 50-win plateau. The 'Jacks' third-year bench boss currently has 49 wins on his coaching ledger and with one more victory he will become the 10th head coach in program history to accumulate 50 or more wins. Keller would also tie Stan McKewen (1943-48) for ninth place on SFA's coaching wins chart.
• Senior Shannon Bogues continues to lead SFA - and the Southland Conference - in terms of assists per game. Bogues is averaging five assists per game which is the 68th-highest average among all NCAA Division I men's basketball players so far in 2018-19.
THE SERIES
• SFA is 27-5 all-time against St. Edward's and has won nine of the last 10 matchups between the two programs.
• St. Edward's last win in the series came on Dec. 4, 1961, when the Hilltoppers scored an 81-75 win over SFA in Nacogdoches.
• The 'Jacks are 17-3 in Nacogdoches against St. Edward's. That record includes a perfect 5-0 showing inside William R. Johnson Coliseum.
KELLER IN NOVEMBER
• Now in his third season in charge of SFA, Kyle Keller has made sure the 'Jacks have been sharp in the season's first month throughout his tenure.
• Including the 'Jacks' 3-1 record in November of 2018, SFA has posted an 11-4 (.733) record in the month of November under Keller.
• At home under Keller in the month of November, the 'Jacks have been unstoppable. SFA is 10-0 inside William R. Johnson Coliseum in the month of November under Keller.
SCOUTING ST. EDWARD'S | ROSTER | SCHEDULE | STATISTICS

BAIN ON THE BOARDS
• Needing a stout rebounding presence in its lineup ever since it was announced senior TJ Holyfield would miss the entire 2018-19 season due to injury, junior forward Nathan Bain has stepped up and been that for SFA so far.
• The Freeport, Bahamas, native has started three of the four games SFA has played this season and has amassed seven or more boards in three games.
• Currently, Bain leads SFA and ranks eighth in the Southland with a rebounds per game average of 6.8.
• His 2.5 offensive rebounds per game represent the sixth-highest average in the Southland and the 189th-best average in college basketball so far this season.
