SFA Volleyball Hosts Alumni Weekend

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – As spring volleyball workouts wind down, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks will host SFA Volleyball Alumni Weekend this Friday and Saturday.
Head Coach Debbie Humphreys and her team will welcome back former players to Nacogdoches for the weekend for a scrimmage against Louisiana Tech and some alumni games.
SFA will face Louisiana Tech at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shelton Gym to close its spring schedule and then host a tailgate for the former players in attendance. An alumni match is scheduled for 2 p.m. with the current Ladyjacks then taking on the alumni at 3 p.m.
The team will close SFA Volleyball Alumni Weekend with an alumni dinner for the former and current players.
With the conclusion of spring workouts, the Ladyjacks will report for fall training camp in August when they will officially begin their preparation for the 2014 season. The Ladyjacks will open their season at a tournament hosted by the Arkansas Razorbacks. SFA’s full schedule will be announced soon.
