Game Notes & What To Watch For:

- SFA is 1-19 all-time vs the Aggies, with its one win coming in 2010 when it pulled out a 7-6 win. Last season the 'Jacks fell 4-3.
- SFA shortstop Hunter Dozier needs just two doubles to become new all-time career leader at SFA.
- Cameron Gann had the lowest ERA for an SFA starting pitcher (2.62 ERA) since SFA brought back baseball in 2006. He will be making his first start of the season on Tuesday for the 'Jacks.
- The 'Jacks have four preseason all-Southland Conference selections: Hunter Dozier, Freddy Villalobos, Max Lamantia and Cameron Gann.
- SFA led the Southland with 35 homers as a team last season. Of that total, 18 HR from last season return. The 'Jacks hit two home runs in its opening series vs South Alabama, both coming from Freddy Villalobos in the opening game.
- Hunter Dozier is SFA's first ever preseason all-America (Collegiate Baseball, NCBWA). He is the only Lumberjack to reach base in each of SFA's first three games.
- SFA is installing new lighting at Jaycees Field, allowing for night games to be played in Nacogdoches for the first time since 1995.
