Game Notes & What To Watch For:
- Due to the lackof internet, there will be no live stats or Gametracker for Wednesday's game. Fans can get updates on the official SFA Facebook and Twitter pages.
- Despite dropping each of the past two series at home, SFA is still just a game away from a berth in the SLC Tournament with five weekends of play remaining. The schedule remains in SFA's favor, with just one more road series - at Southeastern Louisiana - remaining in the final month of the year.
- SFA is 2-0 all-time against the Golden Lions, picking up a pair of wins in 2011. The 'Jacks won 5-0 in Nacogdoches before picking up a 9-5 win later in the season in Pine Bluff.
- The Golden Lions are just 6-32-1 on the year and enter Wednesday having lost their last eight in a row, including a weekend sweep at the hands of Texas Southern. Despite picking up just six wins on the year, five of them have been at home.
- Sophomore shortstop Hunter Dozier currently leads the Lumberjacks with a .346 batting average and ranks in the top 10 in the SLC in batting average, hits, runs scored, homers, doubles, walks and slugging percetnage. As a whole, SFA leads the SLC with 23 home runs, more than half of its entire season total of 34 in 2011.
