NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Lumberjack baseball team's scheduled game with Louisiana Tech on Wednesday has been canceled due to poor playing condition and inclement weather in the Ruston, La. area. The game will not be rescheduled.
The teams were originally scheduled to play in Ruston on March 11, but the game was rescheduled for May 6 after poor weather swept through the area that week as well.
Louisiana Tech won the only meeting between the teams this year, 8-6, in 10 innings on March 10 in Nacogdoches.
SFA will now look ahead to Friday with a three-game series opening in Hammond, La., against second-place Southeastern Louisiana.
