THIS WEEK SFA takes part in just its second ever Southland Conference Tournament, being played May 20-23 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi. The 'Jacks are the No. 8 overall seed in the tournament and will face No. 1 Texas State in the opening round. SFA will then play either No. 4 Lamar or No. 5 UTA as they make up the remainder of SFA's side of the bracket.
AGAINST THE FIELD SFA is 12-10 this year against the seven other team's making up the field. The `Jacks are also 6-4 against their side of the bracket of the double-elimination tournament.

WATCH THE `JACKS: Fans can watch the `Jacks in the SLC Tournament with SLC Now, available at southland.org. Also, the championship game of the SLC Tournament will be broadcast live on the Southland TV Network, which is Channel 8 on local Nacogdoches cable.
UPDATING THE 'JACKS SFA wrapped up its regular season last weekend at home with Lamar, dropping two of three to the Cardinals. SFA played well down the stetch, winning seven of its final 12 conference games to capture the No. 8 overall seed and the final berth in this week's Southland Conference Tournament.
