Friday's Game With Demons Cancelled Due To Weather

NATCHITOCHES, La. - Heavy showers drenching Brown-Stroud Field have forced the cancellation of SFA's series opener on Friday at Northwestern State. The teams will continue with a scheduled doubleheader on Sunday beginning at noon.
SFA has not played a game since Tuesday's 8-6 loss to Louisiana Tech and has already picked up a win over Northwestern State in non-conference action on Feb. 22.
This is the second consecutive year that SFA will play only a pair of games in league play as the 2008 Sunday contest was also cancelled due to rain.
The games can be followed via Livestats at www.nsudemons.com. Erik Gregersen is set to start the opening game of the series with Erich Lehmann slated for the start in the nightcap.
