FRISCO, Texas - A pair of SFA student-athletes - Erich Lehmann and Traci Rohde - were recognized by the Southland Conference as having the top male and female GPAs at SFA for the 2006-2007 academic year.
Lehmann, a criminal justice major, was named to the SLC/Capital One Baseball All-America team in 2007 after picking up nine wins as a starter for the 'Jacks and even picking up the win in SFA's first-ever postseason victory. He will enter his junior campaign having posted a 17-5 record in his first two seasons, the most wins by any SLC pitcher in that span.
Rohde finished up her career this season for SFA on the volleyball court by helping lead the Ladyjacks to their fourth consecutive SLC title. She was selected to the All-SLC First Team as well as being an Academic All-SLC selection. The 2006 SLC Student-Athlete of the Year, Rohde is one of only three Ladyjacks to have ever accumulated 1,000 kills and 400 blocks for her career.
