
SLC Baseball Championship Available Via Video Streaming

FRISCO, Texas - Fans will have a chance to view the 2007 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament through video streaming on the internet. A link will be available at www.southland.org with fans being able to watch every game of the championship event from Natchitoches, La., for a fee of $19.95. In addition, fans can view single games of the event for a fee of $4.95.
Northwestern State will host the four-day, six-team event starting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23. A minimum of 10 games will be played with the possibility of an 11th in the double-elimination tourney.
Stephen F. Austin will join Texas-San Antonio, Lamar, Texas State, Sam Houston State and McNeese State in the Southland Conference tournament. It will be SFA's first appearance in the tournament in school history.
The Lumberjacks earned their way into the tournament after defeating Sam Houston State 12-9 Saturday at Jaycees Field in Nacogdoches. SFA will face No. 1 seed Texas-San Antonio at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning from Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches, La.
