Lumberjack Baseball Schedules Meeting

NACOGDOCHES - Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack head baseball coach Donnie Watson has scheduled a mandatory meeting set for Monday, Aug. 28 for all individuals trying out for baseball. The meeting will be located in the Ready Room of the SFA Athletic Field House at the North end of Homer Bryce Stadium.
The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. for all scholarship and non-scholarship returning athletes. There will be a meeting at 5 p.m. for all incoming athletes followed by a 5:30 p.m. meeting for anyone who plans to walk-on to the team. All four groups will report back to the Ready Room at 6 p.m. for one final informational session.
The Lumberjack baseball team closed out the 2006 regular season by winning seven of its last nine games, including a series sweep of Sam Houston State to close out the season. Among the Lumberjacks seven wins during that stretch was a 3-2 victory against No. 10 Houston.
