
Lumberjacks Travel to UTSA

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack baseball team (8-36/3-18) will be in San Antonio, Texas, Friday to open up a three-game series against the Roadrunners. Texas-San Antonio will enter the weekend series with a 26-14 (.650) overall record and a 12-6 (.667) conference mark. Friday's game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start. Saturday's game is slated to begin at 2 p.m., while Sunday's game will begin at 1 p.m.
The Lumberjacks are scheduled to send freshman Erich Lehmann to the mound Friday against UTSA. Lehmann brings a team best 5-2 (.714) overall record to the hill. Lehmann will be looking to put an end to the 'Jacks' four-game losing streak.
The Lumberjacks will be back in action Tuesday May 2, when they return home to host Houston. The game against the Cougars is slated to begin at 2 p.m. from Jaycees Field.
