`Jacks Season Opener Postponed Until 3 p.m.

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack baseball team's season opener against Arkansas-Little Rock, which was originally scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Friday at Nacogdoches City Park's Jaycees Field has been pushed back to 3 p.m., due to wet weather conditions. If the weather has not improved by that time, the two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon.
The `Jacks game against UALR is the 2006 season opener for both teams. It also marks the return of SFA baseball for the first time since the 1995 season.
