Hurricane Katrina Forces Schedule Change

NACOGDOCHES - The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina forced the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks to return home for their Southland Conference Opener.
After originally being scheduled to play Southeastern and Nicholls in Louisiana, the matches are now going to be played in Nacogdoches at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
SFA will face the Southeastern Lady Lions on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. before taking on Nicholls State at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The Ladyjacks will be collecting "Cards for Katrina" at both matches. Donations in the form of gift cards will be collected and later distributed to victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The Ladyjacks home opener was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20 against Texas-San Antonio.
