
SFA Athletics Hires Assistant Trainer

NACOGDOCHES - William "Billy" Bobo has been named assistant athletics trainer Stephen F. Austin Head Athletics Trainer Sanford "Sandy" Miller announced Friday afternoon. Bobo will work directly with the Lumberjack baseball team.
Bobo is familiar with SFA having spent the past three seasons as instructor in the university's kinesiology and health science department. Along with his work on campus, Bobo serves as the contract outreach athletic trainer for the Regional Physical Therapy Center, Highland Hospital and is a pharmaceutical agents auditor for PDMA, Inc.
Bobo began his athletics training career at Louisiana-Monroe where he was a student trainer and then a graduate assistant trainer. During his time in Monroe, Bobo worked with various sports including football, baseball and track and field.
Bobo received both his bachelor's and master's degree from ULM.
