COACH DEBBIE HUMPHREYS
"Friday we'll have Prairie View who came here in the spring, and we played them, and they got some very, very good pieces," said Coach Humphreys "We know that's a match that we're gonna have to show up all, any match, we gotta show up, and we better play high level volleyball if we wanna get it done. But they're a very athletic team. They know what to do with the ball. They know how to generate kills. So we're gonna have to play a very solid match there. Same thing with LA Tech and Abilene. It's gonna be very similar with those three opponents. We will have the Prairie View and the LA Tech match kind of back-to-back. So we're gonna play Prairie View, have just enough time to head to the locker room and grab a bite to eat real quick and, "Hey, let's go warm up again." Which shouldn't take too long, 'cause we probably haven't even had time to cool off. So that'll be a challenging thing with those two matches back-to-back. Then we'll have a little time before we turn around the next day and play Abilene. So should be a fun weekend, and again, just a, an opportunity to play four different styles of teams this week. We will have literally seen just about everything there is over our preseason. So once conference gets here, we will have seen all of these styles of play already. And that was the purpose behind this schedule."
