'Jacks Travel to Hammond for SLU Before Returning to the Chopping Block for UTRGV on Sunday

SFA will host UTRGV to cap-off parents weekend in Nacogdoches.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer travels to Southeastern Louisiana for their matchup on Thursday, September 25, at 7:00 P.M. before returning to Nacogdoches for their matchup against UTRGV at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 28.
SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA
Against Southeastern Louisiana, SFA leads the all-time series with 21 wins, 13 losses, and nine draws. Last matchup, SFA took a 2-0 victory over the Lady Lions, hosting SLU on October 11, 2024.
The Lady Lions have scored seven goals this season, led by Emma Ramsey, who has two goals, most recently against their previous opponent, UTRGV, on Sunday. The Lady Lions sport a 2-4-2 record and have a 1-0 SLC record after their 1-0 victory over UTRGV.
UTRGV
When playing UTRGV, the Lumberjacks are a perfect 5-0-1. The last time these two teams faced off, in the SLC Tournament in 2024, SFA secured a 3-1 win over the Vaqueros. The Lumberjacks have netted just 13 goals in six games against UTRGV, scoring a high of four goals in their last regular-season match on October 6, 2024.
The Lumberjacks last outing resulted in a 0-0 draw to Northwestern State after the match was called in the 77th minute due to weather conditions. Bryn Geppert looks to make a strong impact on the pitch after receiving Southland Defensive Player of the Week honors for her performance over McNeese and NSU. The Lumberjacks post a 1-0-1 SLC record and have allowed zero goals so far from any Southland team with eight matches to go.
