NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer hosts Prairie View A&M for Senior Sunday at 1:00 p.m. on September 14.
SFA is a perfect 3-0 against the Lady Panthers, with the last matchup in 2022 resulting in a 3-0 victory for the Lumberjacks. The 'Jacks have outscored Prairie View A&M 15-2 as the first time these teams squared off back in 2008, SFA dominated with a 10-2 win.
Stephen F. Austin is returning to Nacogdoches, Texas, after they picked up a 1-0 victory over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Thursday, led by a goal from Brielle Buchanan, and an eight-save performance from Southland Keeper of the Week Sierra McCluer in her fourth straight shutout. Buchanan pushed past senior Logan Heausler after Thursday's match, tallying seven shots against the Bulldogs. On defense, Erin Morgan, Bryn Geppert, and Southland Defensive Player of the Week, Sydney Williams, all combined for a total of 1,812 minutes in eight matches. Their defensive efforts have helped the 'Jacks capture four straight shutouts while going unbeaten.
