SFA Concludes Four-Game Road Trip With Tilt Against UTEP

SFA newcomers account for five of the six goals on the 2025 slate.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer concludes their four-game road journey with a 2:00 PM kick-off on August 31 against the University of Texas at El Paso.
In the series against the Miners, SFA trails with a 4-5 record, and a 1-4 record when playing in El Paso. SFA has put up 12 goals against UTEP in nine games, with the last Lumberjack victory in 2016 when SFA took down the Miners 2-0 in Nacogdoches.
SFA holds a 0-2-2 record with a 5-1 loss at Texas State last match. Logan Heausler tallied one goal for the 'Jacks after finding the back of the net for the first time since her transfer from Oklahoma State. The newcomers for SFA have made their impact early, as five of the six goals have been netted by a SFA newcomer. Freshman Taylor Dodson still leads the 'Jacks in goals on the year at two, and Alexis Miller leads in minutes at an even 300 in four games.
