With the 2-0 series lead SFA holds, this will be the second meeting played at Arkansas State for the 'Jacks. The last matchup was dated back to September 8, 2008, when SFA defeated the Red Wolves in a 3-1 match in Nacogdoches. When the Lumberjacks last marched into Jonesboro, they stormed away with a 2-1 victory in 2005 to claim the title in the Lady Indian Invitational hosted by Arkansas State.
Arkansas State's previous match against UT Martin resulted in a 1-1 draw, with Kennedy Horn adding herself to the score sheet to tally the only goal for Arkansas State. The Red Wolves attempted 11 shots, with six of them falling on target, and four players were credited with two shots each.
