SFA hosts the Lions for the third meeting in series history at the Chopping Block.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer hosts the East Texas A&M Lions for a matchup at the Chopping Block at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 9.
SFA trails in the series against the Lions in a one-game margin the with an all-time series record of 2-3 for the Lumberjacks. Last outing, SFA defeated the Lions 2-0 at the Southland Tournament to capture the 2024 SLC Championship, as defensive returner Erin Morgan was one of two goal scorers for the Lumberjacks.
SFA is returning to Nacogdoches, coming from a 1-1 draw at Lamar. Taylor Dodson netted her third goal of the season and is now tied with Alexis Miller and Brielle Buchanan in goals for SFA at three. Sierra McCluer continues her domination run in Southland Soccer, as she leads the Southland in shutouts with seven and is tied eighth in the nation. Sierra McCluer donning the number 36 on her jersey, as she is 36th in the nation with saves at 59.
