Texas A&M-Corpus Christi hosts the Lumberjacks for fifth time in series history.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin women's soccer will be hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 12.
SFA leads the series against the Islanders with a 6-2-2 record. The last time these two teams met, SFA hosted the Islanders, where the Lumberjacks pulled away with a 7-0 victory in 2024. The 'Jacks are 2-1-1 when playing in Corpus Christi, with the last away match being a 2-1 victory for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
The 'Jacks are coming off a close 1-0 defeat to East Texas A&M at the Chopping Block. Brielle Buchanan, Taylor Dodson, Alexis Miller, and Logan Heausler led the Lumberjacks on offense, combining for a total of 24 shots on the night. Bryn Geppert, Sydney Williams, and Erin Morgan played a full 90-minute match, allowing the Lions to record only four shots on goal. Sierra McCluer allowed one goal in her three-save performance and remains top 50 nationally for saves with 62.
