TULSA, Okla.- The Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer (1-1-2) fresh off their first win of the season as well as the first win of Head Coach Ben Williams' coaching career get set to hit the road again as they travel to Oklahoma for a Sunday matinee matchup with the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (2-4-1).
Lumberjacks at a Glance:
The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks finally got lucky with the weather on Thursday night as they were able to host their home opener against the A&M-San Antonio Jaguars. The Lumberjacks offense put on plenty of fireworks for Coach Ben Williams in his home debut as they totaled 10 goals from seven different goal scorers including the first career hat trick for Kamryn Jiles, and the first career brace for Brielle Buchanan. All in all, the 'Jacks finished Thursday night's contest with 47 total shots, 26 of which were on goal as 16 different players recorded a shot for SFA in the win.

The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles return home to open up a short two-game homestand after just wrapping up a short two-game roadtrip that saw them travel around Texas for a pair of matches. The Golden Eagles started the roadtrip in Lubbock to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders where they fell 5-0, before traveling to Stephenville to clash with Tarleton State in which the Golden Eagles scored a pair of goals in the first half to claim a 2-1 victory over the Texans for their first road win of the season. The win over Tarleton granted Head Coach Austin Risenhoover his 20th career win in his coaching career.

Kamryn Jiles and Brielle Buchanan exploded offensively for SFA on Thursday night as the two combined for a whopping five goals, and 11 combined points that saw both players reach impressive milestones. Jiles recorded her first career hat trick while becoming the first SFA player since 2016 to record a hat trick in a game, while Buchanan recorded not only her first collegiate goals in the win, but also her first career brace in her first ever home game for the Lumberjacks. Maddie Bowers had an impressive day of her own on the statsheet as she tallied a goal and a pair of assists for four points to set a new career-high in assists while scoring her first goal as a member of the Lumberjacks.
Marcella Alves and Samantha Guzman lead the way offensively for Oral Roberts as both players have netted a pair of goals of this season. Carys Torgesen and Audrey Weir have also tallied goals of their own, while Zoe McCabe leads the team with 14 shots and is one of five Golden Eagles to record an assist this season. Alexa Riefer has started all seven games in net for ORU this season and has recorded 35 saves over 585 minutes of playtime.

Sunday afternoon's matchup will mark the ninth all-time meeting between these two schools and the first time in over 10 years they have played each other. SFA leads the all-time series 5-3, while this will mark the first time SFA will play at Oral Roberts since 2011. In their latest match in 2013, the Golden Eagles claimed a 2-1 victory over the Lumberjacks in Nacogdoches.
