The Lumberjacks came into tonight well rested as they had two straight games cancelled due to inclement weather and were playing for the first time in over 10 days and it showed early with the Lumberjack offense. The 'Jacks came out with plenty of pressure early and were rewarded as Maddie Bowers collected her first goal as a Lumberjack in the 18th minute to put SFA ahead 1-0. Just under 20 minutes later in the first half, the 'Jacks would tack on another goal to their lead as Kamryn Jiles picked up her first goal of the season and second of her career off a perfect centering pass from freshman Alex Bayouth to put SFA ahead 2-0. However, Jiles and SFA would not be done scoring in the first half as she would tally her second goal of the half in the 41st minute, before Brielle Buchanan recorded her first goal as a Lumberjack 16 seconds before halftime to give SFA a commanding 4-0 lead going into the half.
The Lumberjacks started the second half in a similar manner as they ended the first half as Reaganne Crane picked up her first goal of the season just 14 seconds into the second half to stake SFA to a 5-0 lead. Brielle Buchanan kept the offensive onslaught going in the 58th minute with her second goal of the game to push the SFA lead to 6-0. Jayme Bailey kept the offensive pressure on halfway through the second half as she posted her first goal of the season as well in the 63rd minute to make it 7-0 Lumberjacks, before Maddie Bowers found Avery Brandt on a cross-field pass that saw Brandt net her first goal of the season and the eighth of the game for SFA to push the lead to 8-0 SFA. Bowers would pick up her second assist of the game just over three minutes later as she would find Lily Hargrove this time, who would bury a nice turnaround goal to give SFA a 9-0 lead. However, the 'Jacks would not be down scoring in this one as Kamryn Jiles would record her first career hat-trick off a penalty kick in the 85th minute to give SFA their first double-digit goal game since 2011, and became the first SFA player since 2016 to record a hat-trick in a game to punctuate the 10-0 win for the Lumberjacks and grant Head Coach Ben Williams his career win as a coach.
