Ladyjacks Women’s Golf Heads to Bearkat Invitational

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks women's golf team heads to Huntsville, Texas to compete in the Bearkat Invitational September 23rd-24th. The tournament will be hosted at the Bearkat Golf Club.
The Ladyjacks will look to improve off a 7th place finish in the event last season. Sydney Moss will make her second appearance for the Lumberjacks after being the top finisher for the 'Jacks at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Sydney finished tied for 45th place at +12 over par for the tournament.
Avree Fields, Shanna Sandoval, Kinley Pessel and Brooke Dishman will also compete for the team portion of the tournament. Shanna Sandoval will make her first appearance in the starting lineup for the Ladyjacks this week after competing as an individual at the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
Hannah Johnston, Jessica Aguirre and Taryn Clayton will all compete as individuals at the event and will not be counted in the overall team score. Taryn Clayton and Hannah Johnston will also make their first appearances for the Ladyjacks this season at the event.
