SFA Track & Field Travels to Cameron Burrell Inv.

HOUSTON, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin track and field team will travel to the Carl Lewis International Track and Field Complex to take part in the Cameron Burrell Invitational.  This will be the third time this season that SFA has traveled to a track meet hosted by the University of Houston.

The Lumberjacks are coming off their third outdoor meet of the season as they took part in the Texas Relays last week.  SFA had four top three finishes, among a tough field of competition.  Jarvis Anderson (2nd, 400m), Cole Szedga (3rd, Javelin), Timiejha Furlow (3rd, 100m Dash), and Rachel Taylor (3rd, 1500m) all posted top three finishes.

The Cameron Burrell Invitational is set to get started on Saturday (April 6th) morning.  Stephen F. Austin will be back home on April 11th-13th as they are set to host their first track meet of the season.  The Lumberjacks will host the Carl Kight Invitational & Multi back in Nacogdoches, Texas at Homer Bryce Stadium.
