NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks Volleyball Team (14-5, 6-0) open up a four game homestand as they will first host the visiting New Orleans University Privateers (2-17, 0-7) in a Thursday evening matchup at the Pressure Cooker as SFA looks to win their 35th consecutive home game.
Ladyjacks at a Glance:
The Ladyjacks continue to pile wins on as they have strung together nine straight wins to run their overall record to 14-5 on the season with a flawless 6-0 conference record. The Ladyjacks are coming off a five-set thriller their last time out as they defeated the UIW Cardinals 3-2 in five sets to claim their ninth consecutive victory. SFA is a perfect 6-0 at the Pressure Cooker this season as they have won 34 consecutive home matches and will look to extend that impressive streak Thursday night against the Privateers in their dig pink game.

The New Orleans Privateers enter Thursday night in the Pineywoods looking to snap a 12-game losing skid and get back in the win column. The Privateers will be searching for their first conference win of the season as they currently hold an 0-7 conference record and a 0-5 away record this season. New Orleans two wins this season have featured no shortage of action as the Privateers defeated both Alcorn and UAPB in five sets with 3-2 wins.

The Ladyjacks thrilling win over the UIW Cardinals marked not just the ninth straight win for the 'Jacks but also featured a game full of career highs for seven different Ladyjacks. Katherine Holtman and Izabella Ortiz formed a domiating offensive duo against the Cardinals as each recorded a career high 20 kills apiece. Meanwhile, Jayden Flynn and Cambry Saul dished out assists at will against the Cardinals as both posted new career highs with Flynn tallying 40 assists and Saul posting 22 assists of her own. Defensively, Kennedy Jones and Camryn Hill kept the Cardinals offense at bay as they posted career highs in digs with Jones recording 21 digs and Hill matching her with 21 digs herself. Kyanna Creecy continues to be a force to be reckoned with at the net as she led the team with a new career high nine blocks against UIW.
Courtney Roundtree and Chelsea Daffin lead the New Orleans offense as both have tallied over 125 kills and 140 points each this season. Defne Eciroglu and Alexis Belarmino have been the kick starters for the Privateers offense as both have recorded over 180 assists this year. Lani Alleman, Chelsea Daffin, and Defne Eciroglu have formed an efficient trio defensively as all three have over 100 digs, while Courtney Roundtree leads the team with 45 blocks on the year.
