SEATTLE, Washington- The SFA Women's Volleyball Team continues their WAC road slate against the Seattle University Redhawks
Ladyjacks at a Glance:
Stephen F. Austin comes into this game against Seattle coming off a sweep against Utah Valley, 3-0. That sweep marked the third consecutive conference sweep for the Ladyjacks to begin conference play and they enter this game against Seattle with confidence at an all-time high. In the game against Utah Valley, SFA led in points (61-41.5), kills (46-31), aces (4-3), blocks (11-7), assists (42-30), and digs (37-32).
Izabella Ortiz led the way against Utah Valley as she contributed on both offense and defense for the 'Jacks. Hoang leads the team with 264 digs on the season, while Ortiz is currently tied for second in the nation in blocks with 86. As a team, the Ladyjacks continue to maintain their spot at first in the nation in Team Total Blocks with 171.5. SFA holds an 14-3 record overall, a perfect 3-0 conference record, and a 3-2 away record. They enter the match against Seattle on a three-game winning streak looking to push it to four games.

The Seattle University Redhawks face off against the SFA Ladyjacks with a 5-9 overall record, a 0-3 conference record, and a 0-1 home record. The Redhawks are currently in the middle of a three-game home conference stint which will wrap on Thursday when they play UTRGV at Redhawk Center. The Redhawks played their first home game of the season on Thursday and fell 3-1 to the UT Arlington Mavericks.
