NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer hosts the University of Alabama at Birmingham on September 3rd at 11:00 a.m.

Stephen F. Austin wraps up their four-game home stint Sunday and are looking to snap a three-game losing streak. SFA is entering this game on the heels of a 3-1 loss on Thursday against SMU. The first half saw the Mustangs outshoot SFA 12-3, but the Lumberjacks finished the second half strong as they outshot SMU 8-4 but were unable to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit. The 'Jacks were able to end SMU's shutout bid in the 80thminute as Morgan Donohue scored her first goal of the season, while Avery Brandt picked up her first assist of the season on the Donohue goal. Lydia Sattler logged five more saves against SMU and has recorded eight combined saves in the previous two games. Overall, on the season, SFA stands at 1-4 and the 'Jacks are hoping to claim their first home win of the season on Sunday.

The UAB Blazers travel to Nacogdoches holding a 2-2-1 overall record this season and are coming off a tie against the TCU Horned Frogs. The Blazers were outshot 18-3 by TCU but goalie Anika Toth saved all three shots on goal she faced to keep a dangerous TCU offense off the board. So far this season, the UAB defense has been stingy with opponents as they have yet to allow more than two goals in a game. Leading the Blazers offensively is Carlyn Presley who leads the team in goals (two), points (four), and shots on goal (seven).
