
Bradley, Hoang, and Pagan Receive All-Tournament Honors

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Ielan Bradley was named the SFA Tournament MVP, while Haley Hoang and Ariana Pagan were named to the All-Tournament team, helping the Ladyjacks go 3-0 in the tournament.
Bradley continued her dominant start to the season, winning MVP of the SFA Tournament that featured three great teams and many impressive players. She accumulated 51 kills, 12 blocks, and 58 points during her impressive weekend. Her best match came against Tulsa on Friday, as she had 25 kills, 6 blocks, and 29 points. The 25 kills was a career-high, and she had a spectacular .610 hitting percentage on the day. She was a force the whole tournament, and raised her season totals to 159 kills, 185 points, and 3.78 points per set, all of which lead the team. She notches another accolade to her amazing season so far, and looks to continue that play with conference competition approaching.
Hoang had an outstanding weekend as well, earning All-Tournament Team. She was very solid on defense, accumulating 67 digs over the three matches while having 24 assists. She was consistent all tournament, having over 20 digs and 6 assists in each match. She upped her team-high total of digs to 224, easily leading the team, and ranks third on the team with 60 assists. She was vital to the Ladyjack defense, and they will need her to be at the top of her game moving forward if they're going to continue dominating their opposition.
Pagan was also productive this weekend, notching 25 kills, 29 points, and 44 digs. She did a little bit of everything, and was vital to the Ladyjack offense and defense. She was consistent, totaling at least 8 kills and double-digit digs in every match. On the season, she is second on the team with 107 kills, third on the team with 125 points, and second with 169 digs. She does everything for the Ladyjacks, and does it well.
The Ladyjacks are back in action Tuesday in Waco to take on the Baylor Bears.
