Jacks Fall to Cowgirls in Season Opener

STILLWATER, Okla.- Oklahoma State defeated Stephen F. Austin 4-0 Thursday night in the 2023 season opener.
OSU scored their first goal in the 13th minute of the game, 1-0. The 'Jacks went into the locker room down by one. The Cowgirls went on to score goals in the 50th, 59th, and 63rd minutes.
SFA recorded 10 shots while OSU had 25. Jayme Bailey led the team with three shots. Bailey, Jamie Jezierski, and Jamie Ingrassia each recorded a shot on goal. Goalkeeper, Lydia Sattler recorded six saves against OSU. Ava Shannon and Shaley Lewis made their first collegiate starts, and all nine freshmen saw action on the field.
The 'Jacks will travel to Tulsa for a matchup with the Golden Hurricane on Sunday, August 20th at noon.
