
Three 'Jacks Named to All Conference Teams

The Jacks just finished up a series win over Tarleton State, but over the weekend, a few girls were given some prestigious hardware. Mackenzie Bennet and Brooke Gainous were named First Team All-WAC, while Gaby Garcia was named Second Team All-WAC.
Mackenzie Bennett- The power hitting first baseman has had a great year. Here's a look at her impressive campaign:
- .373 batting average
- 1.092 OPS
- 13 doubles (tied for tenth in WAC)
- 104 total bases
- .680 Slugging percentage (eighth in WAC)
- 42 RBI's (sixth in WAC)
- .976 fielding percentage
Brooke Gainous- Gainous was amazing for SFA, being the Jacks workhorse the entire season. Here's a look at the season that the ace of SFA had:
- 3.09 ERA (ninth in WAC)
- 1.37 WHIP
- 12 complete games
- 127 innings pitched (seventh in WAC)
- 45 strikeouts
Gaby Garcia- Garcia was once again a monster in the middle of the Jacks lineup. She etched her name into the SFA history books, as she broke the SFA single season home run record and tied the all-time SFA home run record. Here's a look at her record-breaking year
