PHOENIX, Ariz.- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks Volleyball team begins their final road trip of the season with a visit to GCU for sole possession of first place in the WAC.
Ladyjacks at a Glance:
Stephen F. Austin is coming off their senior day against Utah Valley which saw them claim a 3-1 win over the Wolverines. With their win over Utah Valley, the Ladyjacks clinched a share of the WAC regular season championship. The Ladyjacks honored seven seniors for Senior Day: Alleah Dallas, Ariana Pagan, Ashley Procious, Haley Hoang, Maddy Bourque, Ielan Bradley, and PA Announcer Tyler Tawney. In their match against UVU, SFA led in points (81-61), aces (10-5), assists (53-48), hitting percentage (.304-.160), kills (59-49), blocks (12-7), and digs (74-64).
Ielan Bradley sent the Pressure Cooker crowd off with a bang as she reminded everyone as to how dominant she has been for the Ladyjacks the last four years. Bradley led the team with 18 kills, which saw her record her 1,000th career kill, while adding three blocks on the defensive side. Another Ladyjack reached a career milestone as Ariana Pagan reached 1,500 career digs while stuffing the stat sheet again for SFA as she posted two aces, three blocks, and 12 digs. Izabella Ortiz showed her versatility against Utah Valley as she posted 10 kills, led the team with three aces, and led the team with four blocks. Camryn Hill posted her fifth double-double of the season as she recorded 10 kills and led the team with a whopping career-high 21 digs. Haley Hoang finished second on the team with 15 digs and adding six assists. Jayden Flynn once again led the team in assists with 29, while Maddy Bourque continues to provide unparalleled consistency for SFA by dishing out 17 assists and added four digs. The dynamic freshman duo of Kyanna Creecy and Tanishua Joseph continue to make significant contributions on defense as they combined for seven blocks.
The Ladyjacks finish their home season schedule with a perfect 14-0 and have won an astounding 28 straight games at the Pressure Cooker, which is good for longest in the entire nation. The Ladyjacks also remained undefeated in conference play as they pushed their record to 14-0 in conference play and have won 14 straight games. This 14-game win streak has pushed SFA to a 25-3 overall record, and they will carry an 8-2 away record into this road match against GCU. The Ladyjacks currently sit atop the nation in Total Team Blocks as they have tallied 270 as a team in part to Izabella Ortiz's 128 blocks on the season, which is good for tenth in the nation.

The GCU Lopes come into this match against SFA carrying a 19-6 overall record, a 12-2 conference record, and a 7-2 home record. The Lopes will be beginning their final two home games of the season against SFA and UT Arlington.
