Pagan recorded her third double-double of the season as she had a team leading 16 kills along with 15 digs, which was good for second on the team. Flynn continues her torrent pace with assists as she dished out another 30 against CBU and added 11 digs to secure a double-double. Elsewhere for SFA, Ielan Bradley continued her strong season by finishing second on the team in kills with 14 and adding a block defensively as well. Maddy Bourque continues to form a dynamic duo with Flynn as she handed out 17 assists of her own, while Haley Hoang continues to be a defensive menace for SFA as she led the team with 19 digs and added three service aces on top of that. Alleah Dallas led the team with five blocks, while Tanishua Joseph and Izabella Ortiz each added three for the Ladyjacks defense. Ortiz is coming off her second consecutive week of being named the WAC Player of the Week and she backed it up with a strong all-around performance against CBU by having seven kills, three blocks, and three digs for a total of nine points. Ortiz currently sits at fourth in the entire nation in blocks with 93.0 blocks on the season.
Jayden Flynn surpassed the 400-assist mark on the season against CBU with her 30 assists as she now sits at 403 assists on the season, while tying for the team lead in service aces at 20 with Haley Hoang. Ielan Bradley continues to be a force on both sides of the ball for SFA as she leads the team in kills with 226 and is third on the team in blocks with 66. Haley Hoang continues to add to her impressive defensive season as she is now up to 294 digs on the year. The Ladyjacks continue to expand their lead in Total Team Blocks as they still sit comfortably at #1 in the nation with 189.0 blocks on the season. SFA holds a 16-3 overall record, a 5-0 conference record, and a 9-0 home record. The Ladyjacks have won 23 consecutive games at the Pressure Cooker and will look to keep both their undefeated conference and home record intact against GCU.
