NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin volleyball program continues its conference schedule against Grand Canyon.
Against Abilene Christian on Saturday afternoon, the Ladyjacks dropped the first set, 25-20, then won the second set 25-21, then lost the third set 25-22, the fourth set SFA won 25-16. The Ladyjacks started the set 0-2 and then went on an eight point run and ended up winning the fifth set by a score of 15-8. SFA led in points (77-70), kills (60-59), aces (6-5), blocks (11-6), and digs (81-75). Camryn Hill and Ariana Pagan recorded double-doubles in this match. Hill had 15 kills and 14 digs (both career highs for Hill) while Pagan recorded 10 kills and 11 digs. Ielan Bradley finished second on the team with 12 kills. Maddy Bourque had 25 assists while Jayden Flynn had 21. Haley Hoang led the defensive effort for SFA with 19 digs, followed by Bourque who recorded 16.
