NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin volleyball program continues its conference schedule at Sam Houston.

Utah Valley jumped out to a 2-0 set lead, then SFA won the third set (25-16), UVU closed the game out in the fourth set. Despite the loss SFA lead in points (69-68), kills (57-54), aces (4-1), assists (54-48), digs (60-48), and hitting percentage (.229-.199). Leah Powell and Ielan Bradley led the offensive attack for the Ladyjacks with 13 kills each. Payton Cerny finished second on the team with nine kills. Jayden Flynn recorded 25 assists and Maddy Bourque had 23. Izabella Ortiz led SFA with six total blocks including one solo. Haley Hoang led the defensive effort for the Ladyjacks with 18 digs, followed by Powell who recorded 13.
