The 'Jacks would notch nine shots in total, including four on goal. Jayme Bailey led SFA with two shots on frame, while Lily Hargrove and Mariona Garcia Dalmases nearly scored on shots of their own as well. Carli Arthurs blasted a shot off the crossbar in the second bar that nearly pulled one back for the home side.
Maddie Talbot (0-1) suffered the loss in goal but was solid despite the result, saving 10 shots as TCU kept up the attack throughout the contest.
SFA is back in action on Sunday against Rice in Houston. Kickoff for that game has been moved back to a 7:00 p.m. start.
