SFA Ends Run at ITA Texas Regionals

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - During day two of the ITA Texas Regionals hosted by Texas A&M, the SFA doubles team of senior Gabi Guilarte and junior Annie Walker wrapped up their run through the tournament field.
The lone Ladyjack doubles team competing in the regional tournament, Guilarte and Walker suffered an 8-0 shutout loss against the Aggie duo of Jessica Anzo and Lucia Quitero in a second-round match Friday morning.
Guilarte, Darinka Tiboldi and Walker were each eliminated from singles competition Thursday.
SFA's final fall tournament will take place at the Schlief Tennis Complex as the Ladyjacks host the SFA Duals on Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3.
