• The squads swapped runs and the last surge from Stetson came when the Hatters reeled off three uncontested point to knot matters at 18 before SFA took control.
• Coleman and Makenzee Hanna teamed up for the last of SFA's two blocks in the set to break the 18-18 deadlock. That rejection represented the starting point of a 7-3 run where Marisabel Torres fired in an ace and three Ladyjacks added kills to put the Hatters away.

SET TWO | SFA 25, Stetson 12

The Ladyjacks' efforts were helped along by the Hatters who committed four unforced errors during that initial surge. From the service line, Brewer and Ann Hollas each delivered an ace to keep the Ladyjacks rolling.
• The Hatters never shrank the Ladyjacks' lead to less than six points the rest of the way and during a 9-1 run to end the set four Ladyjacks pounded down kills.

• With their sights set on a sweep, the Ladyjacks had to put victory on hold for a set after Stetson came out swinging. After Hanna and Coleman teamed up for a rejection that increased SFA's lead to 7-5, the Hatters answered with a 10-2 run to take control.
• Four unforced SFA errors contributed points to Stetson's run while three Hatters connected on kills to help their squad take a 15-9 lead.
• Hao Jin keyed the Hatters' final surge of the frame by accumulating four kills on a 7-2 run that finished the set and spoiled SFA's shutout bid. The Ladyjacks never got going on offense and hit just .029.
SET FOUR | SFA 25, Stetson 16
• After sputtering in the third, SFA regained its footing in the fourth and finished off the Hatters. Corin Evans, Daron and Hanna each registered kills and Redmond added a service ace during the Ladyjacks' 5-2 run to begin the final frame.
• Stetson utilized a 6-2 surge to go ahead 8-7 but once Hollas got on the service line SFA retook the lead for good. The junior aced the Hatters twice during a 6-0 run that put the home team ahead 13-8.
• Stetson never regained the lead and though the Hatters trimmed SFA's lead to 16-12 the Ladyjacks reeled off five straight points culminating with a kill from Brewer to go up 21-12. Freshman Sabrina Monaco ended the set and the match by firing in SFA's eighth ace of the tilt.
